Cosy day inside, got back to some #baking with a chocolate and macadamia #babka, following #PaulHollywood’s recipe from season 11 of #GreatBritishBakeOff #GBBO #ComfortFood.

I just found out something VERY EXCITING. 🥳
If you’re familiar with me at all, you know I’m a huge fan of #GreatBritishBakeOff (or Baking Show if you’re USian and not as pedantic as I am).
A while back, Netflix and BBC removed all of the pre-Channel 4 episodes of #GBBO / #GBBS from their platforms. You can’t buy, rent, or find episodes from before 2017 anywhere (legally).

OK, #pie three is in the fridge and pie 2 is baking away. I feel like a #greatbritishbakeoff contestant will all this timing and running back and forth in the kitchen. Any minute #NoelFielding and #Matt Lucas are going to appear for some comic relief I'm sure.

I can't watch Bake Off without something tasty to eat. Tonight for the final it's an (experimental) gluten free beetroot chocolate cake, with a couple strawberries.

No points for presentation but it tastes lovely.

Just watched #GBBO Extra Slice and rewatched all Janusz’s cakes from the beginning.

I don’t understand why he left the tent this week - he is so good it is unbelievable!

Just watched #GreatBritishBakeOff Mexican week. How are #tacos baking? Have to agree seems to be an episode that missed the mark on so many levels. At least I’m watching on #tacotuesday

How are we feeling about this week's result?

I thought Janusz was a dead cert for the final from the start but he had a poor week. It's a shame because while I've been rooting for Sandro I'm sad it was between the two of them this week.

Abdul is proving to be a dark horse

Genuinely will be happy no matter who wins because they are all brilliant.
