Woof Wednesday Respite

Today was a windy and wet #woofwednesday But we all persevered and walked our hearts out, before I got a flat tire that exposed 3 more frozen lugs nuts. I am now sitting at the dealership waiting to find out if only 3 bolts/wheel studs need to be replaced or more...

Luna, my #GreatDane #dog is recovering really well from her Spay and Gastropexy. She is back to nearly normal in her actions and attitude. Still slightly subdued as expected from such a major surgery. She is happy and eating and drinking and going potty like normal again.

Vet wants us to check the wound twice a day to watch for any problems. So far it looks GREAT to me. My surgery wounds ALWAYS look worse than this does. Her body seems to be handling it

Just got my #GreatDane dog home from the veterinarian. She had a double surgery. Standard spay and also a Gastropexy. She is really out of it. Finally got her laying down. She is really reluctant to move and do things right now.

My old #GreatDane is laying on my bed in my room here, at the far end of the bed, making pitiful little squeaks because no one is petting her. *sigh* Fine, ok, let me stop with the PC, and lay on my side on the bed to pet her. Younger dog decides she also needs attention but that the side of my ribcage looks super comfortable.
