Needed some gardening supplies - so we jumped on the 1, changed to the 18 to Wawona, browsed and bought at Sloat Garden Center, the realized it was after noon on a Friday, so could walk on the #GreatHighwayPark to Fulton, then took the 5 to FIllmore and walked back to California. Who needs a car?

and on the bus @grimalkinUSA was asked about her TravelScoot by a couple of people who realized that's a mobility device that would improve their lives, with information exchanged.

As a city desperate to attract convention visits and workplaces to #downtownSF, why wouldn’t we double down on this positive attention by creating more #carFree spaces?

Bay Bridge bike lane, Grand Embarcadero, downtown Slow Streets, road->park conversions in SoMa and TL… it only needs political will.

And with the #SlowStreets hearing at the SFMTA board still going on, the SFBOS has just approved a continuation of the #GreatHighwayPark on Friday afternoons and weekends, with a 9-2 vote!
