Having just watched (on repeat) the festive #GreatPotteryThrowDown Festive special, we're now gearing up for the #Detectorists special later tonight... two programmes that sum up for me what the 'best of British' might really mean!

For anyone UK-based looking for something warm and fuzzy to watch, we really enjoyed Sandi Toksvig's Tiny Christmas Challenge. It's just so wonderful to see the #creativity of the crafters, and I loved the fact that the main challenge was a team one, and that all the contestants - and Sandi and the judges - were so supportive. It's (appropriately) a little gem of a programme that'll tide me over until the #GreatPotteryThrowdown on Christmas day.
