2. I find it shocking that we have to resort to giving people tax breaks to stop doing something very bad.

Kenworthy Woods, a former tip which was converted to woodland in the 90s has been declared a local nature reserve. Obviously the really good news happened in the 90s, but anything that helps to protect that land is important.
