new addition to the family. as yet unnamed. he’s a #Gretsch, #concert scale #ukulele. picked him up today at Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI.
initial impressions:
1. damn, he’s LOUD!
2. compared to most of my small collection, he’s HUGE as well. my banjolele comes close & my Kala UBass beats all of them.
3. the width of the fretboard makes certain chords easier to play cleanly.
some video coming along shortly. also may be time to take another “family picture” of my stringed instruments.
