Personally, I haven't tried it, but the only magnetic sheets that I get my hands on, the instructions clearly state no higher than 60°C.

Whether it is to protect the magnetism or the actual material, I don't know.

Remember, heat destroys a magnet. If you take one of those 6x2mm magnets used with #Gridfinity, and you heat it up with a lighter, it loses all of its magnetism.

This really isn't my specially and would love a lawyers input. But is it possible to have a license where no one may sell your product, but it is still open and communities can extend and mod it?

Yes, it sounds like most licenses on #Thingeverse and #Printables and a lot like what #Gridfinity has done. But #Prusa keeps on using licensing so that people can actually sell their product.

For example, anyone can just recreate an original i3 or #Ender3

The key is non-commercial use.

I've finally finished the basics of my first #Gridfinity setup! The shelf is finally fully-gridded, so now I can fill it up with tools and holders! Next up is a scraper for the bed of my 3d printer, but I just ran out of magnets, so it'll have to wait...

I want to brag with my clean and organized setup. #Gridfinity all the way. Some things in the corners still need sorting, but I was busy printing other stuff the last few weeks. And I haven't tuned my #Klipper setup for Gridfinity yet.

But I won't show my drawer of shame below it. That's where everything is that isn't sorted yet.

It has such a large gan bade due to its creator #ZackFreedman or #VoidstarLabs on #Youtube.

It is an #opensource storage solution that just exploded due to his creaivity and response from the community.

Do I like it? Well, yeah, I love it. It is just so simple, and due to the community, there is basically a storage solution for everything. I can move everything around, and everything fits in everything. So my storage isn't fixed and it is customisable.

At first, you'll just print community creations, but once you start to use the #Fusion360 plugin or #OpenSCAD library, it possibilities are endless.

I might be wrong, but I think that is my go-to design for my #Gridfinity prints. I customized all of them there before printinginf them, but I could not have done it without it!

This reminds me that I need to post my makes and remixss.

https://www.thangs.com is my goto search engine for any 3D models. I even use it even when I just want https://www.printables.com results. It provides similar tools and syntax to #Google search for advanced searching and queries. I definitely recommend it!

This is my current #Gridfinity drawer which I am upgrading now.

OK, so this is my final slice in #PruslaSlucer. It is a complex #gridfinity model for my #DremelSolderingIron, #Ironsucker and all of the attachments. Will post as soon as it is done printing.

I will most probably only start to print it tomorrow morning, because I am printing with #Creality #ABS, so there are a bit of fumes. Still need to make my #enclosure 100% air tight.

As much as I love #OpenSCAD, it is just the best thing ever for community projects, for example there enter parametric sets for #gridfinity, it is just a bit slow for me and unresponsive.

I have OpenSCAD on my SSD, 16GB RAM and I have a MX150 GPU. Is it possible to use my GPU to help speed it up? Or is it just slow?
