I have fwupd on my agenda for #Grml already, prompted by http://layer-acht.org/thinking/blog/20230514-fwupd/ - thanks for the reminder! :)
The usage of snapshots.d.o indeed is a problem, though AFAICT it's the only option to have proper dependencies also months after Grml was released. :-/ Not yet sure what to do about it ;(

Oh, and #Debian ISO dd'ed to a USB drive won't boot (UEFI doesn't want it). So I used #grml with grml-debootstrap to install it in the old fashioned way. However, I somehow failed in setting up the boot method although I used a GPT partition scheme and set the options accordingly. Whatever, my knowledge seems to be outdated. Not the year of #Linux on the desktop.
