Might as well share these socks I knitted for @piizog for Christmas! I used the chart and overall idea from Novita (especially as I am still learning Finnish and can't read the pattern) and modified the chart a bit to look more true to the original drawing. I also couldn't find the yarn for the sock body so I did color work, which I think looks better anyway. Will probably share the modified chart on ravelry at some point (I know ravelry has issues, I'm trying to use it less but as of now there isn't a great alternative)

#octobit day 4: Child Folklore

This one had me stumped for a bit but then I remembered the #groke from the #moomins. This thing really creeped the shit out of me when I was a little kid. I got a bit behind as I came down with a seasonal cold.
