Unless someone provides a program with #root #privilegues it can only mess up the $HOME of the user account which it runs under.

This is why the default config for servers like #Apache and #PostgreSQL to literally be run as #daemons or rather #systemD services under dedicaded user accounts, so a webserver - even when hacked - can't f**k up the system.

It's part of the #KISS-Approach to #Users and #Groups in #POSIX and is supplemented with #AppArmour...

I wish we in the #NeurodiversityMovement are going to find a solution so that humen can more easily find and build #NeurodiverseGroups and teams in whatever situation.

I believe we have a strength to see things which other people can't because of the "they think that they are normal" thing, and "they don't feel they have anything to search for in that regard"...

...while we in the #Neurodiversity #Movement know that there are many #neurotypes and our job is to find them so that we can build even more #neurodiverse #groups, thus strenghtening the neurodiversity in those groups

For some unknown reason, #Facebook flagged and restricted my #podcast account. All I did yesterday was #post the latest #episode and forward those the #groups that I usually post it too. Compare that to #Audiomack that didn't accept my show because of one #song that is already on their #playlist. I accepted the Audiomack ban. I didn't know that they already had that song. As for #FB, they should mention why our account is being restricted

Decided to finally follow a few

The biggest advantage I can see right now is that I can add groups to lists; that's something I'd love to be able to do with hashtags too. It would be nice to see a full list of groups on the site as well, rather than just the most active top 50, and a friendlier mechanism for searching for groups too. But lots of scope for good use here.

Basically making only two rules:

NewB: Must be street legal in Germany and available to buy as raced from dealerships.

NewS: Must be street legal in Germany and must be purchaseable as raced from the manufacturer.

Would certainly yield sufficient #safety and force at least force manufacturers to offer actual vehicles.

Vehicles would be ranked per class as per purchase price [after tax in Germany]...

I'm thinking of doing this; like, #Mastodon was great for me to discover friends (see, reach again!)

So perhaps I should exchange #Matrix (or other chatting apps) information with the friends I've made here.

With this thought process, I'd support #Fedisearch, #groups and #Lemmy (as soon as it's released).

I don't know how Mastodon will fit into this... given that it's anti-reach.

I'll be hanging out more on Matrix through; that's the dogma, after all. Friends.
