@ki Angesichts dessen dass der Output kein #Copyright haben kann sehe ich das Problem nicht.

Hinzu kommt dass es z.B. bei Programmiersprachen nur eine finite Anzahl an richtigen Methoden gibt um etwas zu tun.

So würde ich identische Zeilen an #x86 - #Assembly in #NTLDR und #GRUB oder #SystemdBoot nicht als qualifizierend betrachten weil's auf #ix86 und #amd64 nur bestimmte Wege gibt Zeug in RAM zu laden und zu booten...

@gnulinux #mxlinux richtet mir mustergültig #LUKS 2 mit #GRUB ein. Sogar ohne das Zwischendeck #LVM. Kenn sonst keine Distribution, die das schafft. Aber möglich ist es offenbar.

Seeing a bizarre phenomenon with a decade old Asus laptop that I've upgraded in bits and pieces thru the years but now use as a test server. When booting up as it hits #Grub (the bootloader) I have to pick it up and physically press and squeeze the chassis before continuing the bootloader. Only then does the kernel detect the SSD and then load the rest of the OS. 😂

So I tried to replace #Grub in my #EndeavourOS laptop with #systemd-boot. Oh, boy, what a rollercoaster. I tried to follow tutorials, the Arch wiki and dozens of forum posts and the only thing that I accomplished was fuck up the bootloader.

At last I snapped and reinstalled the OS. Not the most dignified course of action but hey, my patience has limits.

#Grub zeigt beim Start, welche #Linux #Kernel vorhanden und startbar sind: 5.16 & 5.18.

Beim Update will aber auch 5.10 aktualisiert werden. Häh? Tatsächlich finde ich bei synaptic zwei installierte Komponenten. Brauche ich nicht, will ich nicht, also entfernen. Ha, von wegen … markiere ich beides zur Deinstallation, soll stattdessen ein Haufen anderer, nicht benötigter und nicht gewollter Schrott installiert werden. Ehrlich, diese unerklärlichen Abhängigkeiten rauben mir den letzten Nerv 😤​
