I had another great #guitar lesson this week. My tutor has got me learning #LennyKravitz' Do You Want To Go My Way - just getting the main riff learnt, for now, and practising the #pentatonic scale across the fretboard. I've got small hands so the stretch between the index finger and pinkie is tough but I'll get there.

I started learning this #Squeeze solo today. Thanks to Pelican Brother Guitar Covers and Tabs on YouTube for uploading the tab to 'Is That Love' - had to play the video back at a much slower speed! Going to record myself again in six months' time and hopefully I'll have improved. 🙏🎸😀

Thinking about diminished chords for too long has diminished my brain. Generally speaking the more complex chords look like chemistry symbols to me, but the slash-zero as half-diminished chord in the thick handwriting of the Real Book makes me think about the runes in an old Tolkien paperback.
