If setup correctly, you can do X computers on Y desks and instantly switch between stuff...

Now one needs to literally crack #HDCP to even record console gameplay or #unencrypted #PublicBroadcast|s...

I just wished #HDSDI over #Fiber would've become the standard instead.

@liz Personally, I have an #HDMI - #Recorder and I'm still pissed that #HDMI was adopted and not #SDI / #HDSDI for cabling outside of professional studios.

Cuz it's a pain in the ass to remove the value-removing bs that is #HDCP...

You know what was needed to record shit before #HDMI? A #SCART cable and a #VCR!

If it wasn't an expensive pain in the ass I would've switched to 12G-#HDSDI over fiber ages ago...

The fact that Matrix Switches often don't work unless one adds an HDCP-Stripper before the inputs is infuriating me even more...
