#DRM is #ValueRemoving and should be outlawed since it only affects #consumers that legitimately paid for content.

#Piracy is basically #DigitalSelfDefense at this point and I find it bad that one needs to have like HDCP-removing splitters to even record any kind of #HDTV.

You know what was needed to record TV in the past?

A VCR and a SCART cable!

I spent a few days tweaking my #LG C2 #OLED #HDTV until I got faithful, usable, non-bizarrely-boosted images on the screen.

#SoundCloud allows artists to allow downloading the track, but it's explicitly #OptIn for each track, and the #Copyrightmafia won't provide you with good audio without #DRM legally.

So like with #Streaming and #HDTV - #Recording you'll propably need to manually record shit with something in the digital signal path, like some caveman saving data on a casette tape from an #8bit machine...
