Just realised that Paranoid Android by Brad #Mehldau (title presumably referring to Marvin from #HGTTG ) sounds strongly influenced (or perhaps referring to the same source) as Kouyate by #Level42 (band name referring to HGTTG).

@NeilH I read the Dirk Gently novels 30 years ago and quite enjoyed them, but prefer #HGTTG. Though I did see a very good amateur production of the Dirk Gently stage play in 2019. Shame Mr Adams was such a procrastinator when it came to writing. He could've produced many more classics if all those deadlines hadn't whooshed by..! 😉

@mazigazi Confession Time: I haven't actually listened to the #HitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy radio shows 😱 I discovered #HGTTG via the BBC TV series in the 1980s and then moved onto the paperbacks. Am I forgiven?! 😂
