June is Lipedema Awareness Month (as well as Pride Month!), yet another of our (many) co-occurring conditions that goes under-diagnosed.

It's characterized by excessive fat on the legs mostly, but can also affect the arms and trunk. Often comes with lyhmpedema too (bilateral). Mostly in women.

Hi all, I plan to address the recent misleading news articles that just came out touting MTHFR as causing hEDS, implying merely supplementing with methylfolate will fix it, too.

This is HIGHLY reductionist, over-simplified, and inaccurate.

Not all with #hEDS have MTHFR defects. Not all who do get better on folate.
