I just saw a blog post saying that there will be no software engineers in 5 years because of AI. The “evidence” was that 40% of code on GitHub is AI generated. Of course there were no references to the numbers they used, and comments were turned off. But anyway, I guess Instagram, Google, Microsoft, banks, cars, and every other place that needs software engineers will all use completely use chatGPT in 5 years. LOL. #hype
