I've spent all week (on and off) wrestling with the duty rota for @peakdistrictartisans Gatehouse Gallery at #HaddonHall 24 artists will be exhibiting on rotation there from 15th May until 9th July so a good long run! I'm there for 5 weeks. Inspired by my excel spreadsheet (I am a #nerd 😉 and its the only way to organise rotas!) and also @BjornIdle lovely door yesterday here are some photos I took of the Gatehouse last year. Maybe they will transfer into stitch some time 🤔

Haddon Hall near Bakewell has wonderful leaded windows with panes set at angles. These Bombee Windows draw more light into the room than flat panes.

My layest work: Eastern Lights, Haddon Hall. This is the east window of the Long Gallery at Haddon. Hand stitched using predominantly wool. Prints will be available soon and the original will be for sale. But I'm just enjoying it myself for now 😁
