Here's how to grow out your further when it seems like it won't get any longer:

1. Shampoo once a week. (Your skin gets used to it and produces less oily stuff, so it eventually doesn't itch and the hair doesn't get greasy.)
2. Wash *with water* then use conditioner daily.
3. Don't do the Einstein thing when you're drying your hair. Instead, squeeze the water out as much as you can, then pull the towel from the forehead to the back to dry the hair. (cont)

I need hair gel/product advice! I kept my head shaved for months and now I am growing it out. It is at a point now where I can easily do a faux hawk, but I have a hard time getting all the hair to either go and stay up in the faux hawk or stay down on the sides. I will post a pic of what I am trying to achieve. I have never used any type of hair product before, so what do I need to use or do with my hair? help!
