Der Sicherheitsverantwortliche des Hajj 2015 sagte, dass sich viele nicht an die Besucherführung hielten und somit gefährliche Situationen entstünden, in denen immer wieder Leute zu Schaden kommen. Es sei somit Gottes Wille.

In yet another hate-motivated attack against Muslims, a bus carrying several Hajj pilgrims was attacked by a violent Hindutva mob in Kota, Rajasthan on 26 May 2023. The bus carrying hajj pilgrims was en route to Jaipur Airport was stopped and made hostage on the Kota-Bundi Road near Menal Hotel.

I found out recently that I'm not physically capable of one key aspect of #Hajj, and that is unlikely to change.

But I'm also told that #Umrah during #Ramadan is a blessed journey, so I'm looking into that instead. Since I'm a newb, a friend has advised me to go with a group.

It's short notice and I can go only for four or five nights, while most group trips are at least seven nights. But we'll see what Allah SWT has in store.
