On our last family visit to Japan in 2017 (not possible since due to COVID) I went to the botanical garden to photograph local flora!
Instead, I found in the main greenhouse, "The Soba Friends".
A group of retirees who met regularly to socialise, chat laugh and drink tea whilst making, from scratch, their own soba noodles!
Still grateful they allowed me to share in their pleasures!
