Did my first #Parkrun today. Been so focused on longer races (#Halfmarathon mostly) for the last decade or that I’m not in any real shape for a #5K, sucked wind the whole time. Did crummy job #pacing. 7:40, 8:06, 8:17, (7:25). Not many #runners showed up, maybe recovering from #turkeytrot. #RunChat https://www.parkrun.us/courthouselake/

Hi, I'm Rob.
I am in the area of #Milwaukee #Wisconsin and also venture to #Albuquerque #NewMexico. I love the #outdoors #kayaking #hiking #running.
I began running regularly in my 50's. I started with a couch to 5k. I've since completed numerous 13.1 #halfmarathon and completed my first 26.2 #marathon at age 60.
I enjoy perusing the #fediverse in search of interesting people, articles, news and minutia.
