Got through the first half hour of #HalloweenEnds last night. So far, I freaking love it.

I treated/punished* myself by picking up HALLOWEEN ENDS. I didn't catch it at the cinema. The first one was pretty great, the second was pretty crap. I'm curious how this branch of the Halloween saga turns out.

So, #HalloweenEnds wasn't the movie I was expecting, but I really liked what it was doing. The different explorations of trauma and evil in this new #Halloween trilogy has been great, and this was a left-field but engaging conclusion that left me very satisfied.

As a huge #Halloween fan, I was gutted I didn't get to see #HalloweenEnds in the cinema. Finally getting a chance to watch it!

After the almighty mess that was Halloween Kills, I came to Halloween Ends with close to zero expectations of finding anything good. I was more than pleasantly surprised. It felt like the freshest entry of the three - featuring characters I actually cared for, a script that was coherent and mostly sane (no Tommy Doyle 'evil dies tonight/keep your eyes open BS in this) and some great direction. Soundtrack was strongest of the trilogy too. #halloweenends
