@bshaurette I'd also recommend trying to stay abreast, e.g. through /r/aws, on things that are going on under the radar.

As @orangepeelbeef said, make the most of the in person aspect:

• Use the to meet new people.
• Focus on things that aren't recorded and available on YouTube afterwards (when I was there, there were some smaller seminar-like and more discursive Chalk & Talks that were interesting)

Finally, wear comfy shoes!

@FLOX_advocate I like the way Hopin does hallway track a bit better - you basically do a chat roulette with a random other participant, and if both want to extend the random session they can keep talking.

Venueless' seem to only give you one single chat (with optional audio/video) for everyone.
