My second most favorite night of #Hannukah. We got home from Christmas celebrations with my inlaws in time for the eighth night lighting. The only thing we forgot was that we could have played the dreidel game with our neices. Next year, with spinagogue and sufganiyot.

so American Christmas at our house is weird.

We don’t spend it with our families (esp cuz they’re back East) but we opened gifts from each other.

At some point we’ll head to Hummus Bodega to eat chicken schnitzel and Sufganiyot (#Hannukah donuts). And we’ll go hiking because we live in the Bay Area.

One of the best things about being an independent adult is making your own traditions, I guess.
