Jadis, les armures des gardes d'honneur du Thain de la Mer des Tomtes de l'île de Sír étaient fabriquées à partir des coquillages géants que l'on peut trouver sur ces côtes. Si ces armures sont faites à présent du meilleur acier, c'est toujours la tradition en dicte les formes.
