Researchers are increasingly required to plan for #OpenScience and #FAIRdata in their projects, However, it is not easy for individuals to convert general guidelines into practice. In our project Barbro Bornsäter and I worked with the Swedish Heritage Laboratory formulating a guide for good data practices and selecting controlled vocabularies useful for the #HeritageScience field:

The authors have analysed 993 samples of #medieval #pigments from Sweden and compare it with results from Denmark, Norway and some European countries. Rare mineral pigments from distant countries were probably obtained from the #hanseaticleague #HeritageScience
