This is kinda urgent: currently sitting in ICE train and cannot for the life of me connect to wifi on board. I figure the problem is Firefox on PopOS preventing me from accessing the http only (no https) login page of the wifi. Is that a thing? Any help appreciated, but keep it simple, I'm new to linux.

A question about replying to other people's toots:

:blobcatthinking2: Is it ok to switch visibility of replies to direct message, if you are only say short things like 'thanks' or 'yeah, me too', that kind of stuff?

:blobcatbook: Because it fills your followers or local timeline with irrelevant stuff (for the larger context). But for the conversation with one or some people, these short replies are important and I do not want to forgo them altogether!

:blobcatsleepless: I'm asking because people might find it weird and to personal getting a direct message suddenly.

ich richte gerade IMAP von #WebDe in #Thunderbird ein und erhalte eine Warnung, dass den #Zertifikat|en für #IMAP und #smtp nicht vertraut wird. Inhaber 1&1, Aussteller AVG.

Das scheint mir nicht so normal? #TB bietet Ausnahmeregelung an, aber warnt davor. Ich kenn mich null mit Zertifikaten aus. Was muss ich tun, um das irgendwie zu überprüfen?
