#NowPlaying in #highfidelity on #vinyl, one of Mr Guaraldi's pre-Peanuts records, which I like very much: the trio is just piano, guitar and bass. The piano's often a bit out of tune, which I think is deliberate.

I listen to #highfidelity music on Tidal using #roon, and sometimes they get a bit confused. At least, I don't *think* Dave Brubeck wrote these lyrics.

#NowPlaying in #highfidelity: a ten-minute version of Desmond's "Take Five" with Mulligan joining on a sax duet and an extended drum solo (because T5 was originally intended as a drum workout for Morello). Just fabulous if you like this sort of thing and if you don't what's wrong with you.

There was a blizzard in New York on February 22, 1963, a night the Dave Brubeck Quartet played Carnegie Hall. It was sold out, and everybody showed up, and were glad they did. Now I I get to hear it whenever I want on #vinyl in #highfidelity because I'm an #audiophile
