We both tested this morning. Identical results.

DAMMIT, I’m angry. Hubby’s work has required him to fly & take road trips all over the place; with so many ppl pretending that Covid is over, this was bound to happen despite how careful he’s been.

We’re both high risk. This is so dangerous for us.

On top of everything else about this, hubby will have to miss a week-long, PAID training session that he’s been waiting literally a decade to take. It would have certified him to teach classes on an additional area of expertise, so = more earning opportunities.

We miss out on this week’s pay AND the future income the training would have enabled.

He can’t work this week, and I’m still too sick to work for more than brief bursts.

We MAY have enough on his paycheck for us to make March rent, but there’s not much for anything else. Right now we’re too sick to cook, so we’ve got to order in anyway.

Her fatigue is brutal. It's awful seeing her like that.

And neither of us have been to our pain specialist in 2 weeks, and we're feeling it.

If you have more severe side effects like me, it's still probably worth it, but of course talking to your doctor(s) and doing your own research using reputable sources is key.

And vaccines aren't our only way out of this pandemic.

I usually have a very intense reaction to any kind of vaccine. NOT an allergic reaction. Just my immune system being a drama king (fever, fatigue, arm rash, all the usual stuff they tell you about, but dialed up to 11).

Those free #Covid tests that the gov sends out? How accurate are the results?

I've felt terrible for a couple of days (cough, fatigue, now also headache); I'm concerned bc I'm supposed to be caregiver for my VERY high risk Mom in 2 days.

Covid test tonight is negative, but I don't know if that's correct.

She's 86, had at least two confirmed Covid cases (both of which put her in the hospital), and is in extremely frail health overall. I don't want to risk exposing her, because it could be deadly.

But I'm the only person available to stay with her on Thursday, because my brother and his ex (who's actually been great at helping with Mom since Dad passed) have to be at an appointment.

I take #rheumatoidarthritis medication that suppresses my whole system in order to stop the progression of the disease, and avoid all public, indoor spaces unless they are medical appointments (with N95's or my elastomeric respirator).

In other news, my brain goes to autopilot when I’m crocheting with granny stitch and doesn't seem to take up much energy! My arms still get sore from the movement, but it’s so nice to have something creative to do that doesn’t zap my energy. I’ve had extreme fatigue after Covid and haven’t been able to do much (including watching tv) so this feels like a win!
