Some hypotheticals from working groups:
Classification:
* Some classification systems separate books about gay, lesbian, bisexual (etc) groups into different areas of the library. Should local practices override that in order to group them together?

. @VentiSamBailey@twitter.com is going off script!! this is an amazing talk about "pornology" and sexuality and circulation of erotic books / their ornaments-- this talk is incredibly cc @sarahebull and @kathylubey@twitter.com #histsex @bookhistodons love how Sam talks about "as a bibliographer...I chose to just interpret this in the most boring way and instead focus on the publisher ornament (below) & figure out where it was from" and "just ignoring previous work on that classed it as porn and look it as an item"
hey #histsex / @histodons ; has anyone seen a guide on "ways to identify queer relationships" in the past? for graduate level students? I can think of some ways I do ("oh my God roommates") but wondered if someone collected other strategies
@amyelizabeth
Christ, this makes me realize how young #HistSex and #HistPorn is. the latter dates to 89/90s!
