I aroha (love) how e hoa (friend) who I did #research & writing collaboration with today, is she's not an academic, but an experienced #genealogist. She helps me change all the "stuffy speech" as she calls it, in the early district #HistoryBook I'm currently researching/writing - as it's for a general audience of rural locals. She's probably right when she said, "the last thing farmers or housewives want to choke over is academia"... although this nearly made me choke on my own coffee!! #NZTwits

Thankfully Rā is shining brightly today so plenty of #SolarPower to run our 2 computers and endless drives...
