the 2nd. Since we experienced a little mishap on here (thankfully hcommons is up and running again!), I'll just briefly reintroduce myself.

So, hello again, I'm studying history with a focus on production & consumption of fashionable dress in the 18th and 19th C. I'm currently working on a MA thesis about Viennese dressmakers in the first half of the 19th C. I had training as a dressmaker myself, but only sew as a hobby. When I'm not writing my MA thesis, I'm researching aristocratic women as consumers in the 1830s ("Agency through fashion", see the toot I wrote earlier).
