Only the thing that prevented it is hypocrisy of members of the BWAA (Baseball Writers Association of America) and the Veterans (or Contemporary Era) Committee, who have already voted in players like David Ortiz, who were not only suspected of but were actually proven to have used steroids to enhance their performance on the field.
No one was complaining when Bonds was hitting balls out of the park on a string and when Clemens was throwing the ball like missles.
Everyone loved them then. So, what's the big f*cking deal now? 🤷♂️

Apparently Eck and his wife threw her out months ago for her drug use. Tough love but I get it. Probably saw what Remy went through and said nope not me. Last I knew no word on baby's condition.
