It was a gift, so I'm trying to decide if I should hold on to it and sell my Series 6, or graciously return the device (I have the gift receipt), but if I had purchased it, I would be returning it.

That being said, the new Hodinkee x John Mayer G-Shock 6900-PT1 arrived today, and it sparks joy in a way that the Apple Watch Ultra does not, every time I look down at my wrist. To me, that's the most important thing in choosing what watch you wear.
