@antoinette @chiclet Same here, one of the best parts is that you can pick and choose what you have time to do. I have chatted with folks on a Discord server as we worked through stuff in previous years, but I'm hoping this year we can do that on infosec.exchange! Maybe with a #HolidayHackChallenge hashtag.

It's worth signing up for an account on the SANS.org website, as there are some great free resources once you find your way around.

Their course pricing is beyond my means at this point though.

Glad I hit 'em up for many training courses as a helper for their conferences, before prices took off - SANS workstudy gets you in the class for a great discount, but is still expensive & they will depend on you to help them in return, as as a room facilitator (sshhh! it's an insider secret!) They may be comming to your town.

I know that cost and great expense can be discouraging, but think like a #Hacker and if you have the desire, drive & determination you will get in to where you need to be.

Even if you can''t attend now due to cost, find out where they are, learn who the players in the field are, find them, talk to them .
That is the way! persistence! many times they will be at conferences & many love to share their love of the material

Look for "ICS CTF's" search, bring your#OSINT skills to bear on your objective.

Note: Also look for an upcomming free online SANS summit on ICS in a few months
It's very worthwile an any price but the SANS Summit series on many interesting topics are usually made available for free
