@rotopenguin @nii236 you can even just run #holoiso on the deck to get all the good parts about steamos but without the immutability.

Even with my screen firmware patch, it looks like the most recent HoloISO build doesn't like the OG GPD Win Max 2020. This is why you ship your devices with the panel in landscape and not portrait. #gpd #linux #holoiso

Creo que lo más notable de esas consolas es que casi todas van con el combo APU de AMD que permite un rendimiento notable en #Linux.

Les gusta mucho ponerles #HoloISO como si fuera un #SteamDeck y no tiene mucha complicación.

Y luego que los fabricantes más y más deciden por sus propias distribuciones custom para sus dispositivos. Buen camino para #Linux en las portátiles.

Got my ayaneo air the other day, it looks amazing and it is really fun playing not at my computer.
Of course first thing i did was install linux(holoiso) on it(tho it took me a bit because chimeraos didnt want to install and holoiso had only broken links so i had to build the iso myself)

I finally cleaned up and organized my desk with the addition of a mini fridge for soda and replaced my desktop with a Intel Mac mini running #risios because the computer I had is now a dedicated gaming PC running #HoloISO so I play with #steamos while waiting for my #SteamDeck. So I can isolate my gaming from productivity work
