I’ve notice a number of people that have wanted to get into using Home Assistant but have been struggling to get there hands on a #rasberrypi and been using old/cheap Windows hardware.

My guide focuses on setting up Home Assistant Supervised in a VM on Windows.

One of my #cat went on a fixed idea that he wants fresh water from the shower, so I have to go there every once in a while to let it run a little bit. Wondering if I should #automate it.

Has anyone ever automated a faucet or a shower? Sounds like a recipe for disaster, so I'm asking before even trying.
