@bespacific We have a hybrid heat pump/propane system, and it works very well. We need the propane as we often have to run off a whole house smart generator (on a private road with few homes and are last on the restoration list and need power for our well pump etc. and the generator would run out of gas quickly if we ran everything off it.) It works very well. We have it set to go to propane automatically at 25 degrees, but not as low as MINUS 20. Interesting.

Frustrating day! Woke up to find out the boiler has given up due to an airlock! Spent whole day trying vent this and vent that, bleed this, bleed that, to no avail! In the end turned the flow temperature down to where the boiler will work long enough! Room temperatures have done from 12C to 13C! Can’t wait to rip out all the shite and get the whole system replaced!!! #HomeHeating #Winter #Snow
