The wife decided to give me a laptop so I could game on since we live in a converted bus, so that I wouldn't be too bored when she went to Spain to meet her parents for two weeks at the end of June. Well, since she got a #beta key for #Palia that laptop is hers now.
So we just went and got another gaming laptop for me.

Not bragging, but just mentioning how quickly things change. We've lived in our bus for over a year, #homeless, but are now just about to move to Spain.

In the recent #election in #ClarkCounty, #Washington - about 13% of the population #voted. Small #local #elections like this actually have a huge impact on the day to day #life of people because they are the local #policies and #elected officials for the specific place you #live. People #complain about the building #rules or property taxes or the #roads or the #homeless #policy or #urban design or #zoning or whatever - these elections matter.

13% made the choices for everyone.

I see refugees to Southern #Alberta made #homeless due to a lack of economic support. There is, for example, a Dinka man who fled genocide in Sudan. It's difficult to understand him when he speaks. It is an outrage & injustice that, having fled to #Canada, he now spends his days in the park. He told me he's going to go to #Edmonton, where he supposes it is less #racist. Canada needs to give more money to our refugees. We could divert the funds that flow to subsidize the fossil fuel industry...

The French government plans to move homeless people out of Paris ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in the capital, sparking criticism from some mayors of regional towns and villages which are expected to house them.
