I should clarify that I'm a disabled pwME and ADHD (a maddening combination!), trying to make the most of being at home, loving the idea of home crafts but not a natural homemaker either so it's all a big, frustrating struggle. I keep trying.

My brother said something interesting to me yesterday, that upon losing our mum I will become the 'matriarch' of the family (the one who cooks and hosts and looks after everyone) like our grandma used to. Mum never wanted that role, for various reasons, but I feel like it is actually something I would like to aspire to.

I'm trying to implement a routine. I love and thrive with routine but I'm really bad at creating and sticking to them.
I'm trying a mixture of The Organised Mum Method ( )and , (although I'm less keen on her recently due to her politics) she has some useful ideas.
Monday is supposed to include a and TOMM'S daily focus for Monday is the living room.
I'm quite pleased with how it has gone. Now I'm exhausted though.
