If you're on Tiktok, no doubt you've played around with the aging and de-aging filters. I looked NOTHING like this as a kid, but the aged filter does sort of make me look like my grandmother before she died in her 80s. I'm absolutely okay with that.

The guys replacing our oil burner are almost done and have to come bleed all the radiators, which means a stranger is going to have come into my lair...er, office. Last night I wrote the very final chapter of a manuscript I'm currently working on (a YA horror/speculative manuscript called LAST NIGHT AT HITCHCOCK'S), including an epilogue. I usually never skip ahead to future scenes, but this is for the YA writing class I'm taking with Nova Ren Suma this semester. While I'm not satisfied with the final chapter yet, I'm in love with the epilogue. Like IN LOVE. ❤️

The lights in our house have been flickering for the last couple of weeks. Not all lights throughout the house, though. Sometimes it's just my office and the kitchen. Sometimes it's my bedroom and the hallway. We've called an electrician to check things out, but I've read and seen enough horror to be convinced I've got a poltergeist or demon infestation.

So that's fun.

One of the surveillance cams Craig set up is in our basement. He uses it to monitor whether there's water seeping into the basement when it rains, but the coverage area includes the wooden door that leads to the creepy dirt root cellar under our front room (where we found a harness for a strap-on buried when we first moved in). The temptation to sit in a dark room & watch the footage, waiting for the wooden door to slowly creep open is almost too much.

It was discovered that the shallow waters off of Dunwich were an ideal place to locate a fish farm. The growth and reproduction rate of fish was so great it was estimated that within months every supermarket in the US would have fish for sale so cheap virtually every American would be able to afford it.
