I'm half Cajun, grow my own hot peppers, and scoff at spicy. Where this goes very wrong for me is when I'm eating Asian and Indian food and I forget their food is hot too. Which brings me to yesterday when I'm trying a Japanese hot sauce, take a big 'ol taste and then stood there for several seconds blinking and throat clearing before I breathed fire. OMG.

Even if you are not for long posts it may help to add some relevant #hashtags to your post since some people may more easily discover your post if you use a hashtag that you both like, ie. #specialinterest / #specialinterests, #hotsauce / #hotsauces, #sauce / #sauces.
No guarantee there will be people actually using these hashtags as Mastodon is getting people alright but all people are not here yet and Mastodon server owners are struggling to adapt their servers to all new incoming users.
