#Humanist questions for #God: Why, of all the anatomical options, did #rosacea have to be on our *faces*? 🥵
Sooo mean! Why not the uvula? Popliteal space? Hallux? Axilla?
Wait - no, I know: the buttocks! Yes! Red rump! Flaming fanny! 🍑 patootie!
[Insert rumbles of thunder] *What did I say again about heaping burning coals on your heads? Thy face shalt be fiery!*
To paraphrase the delightful Tevye of “Fiddler On the Roof,” would a crimson keister really spoil some vast eternal plan???

I had a #Humanist baby naming for my eldest, many years ago. Met the local Humanist group and trained with them over three years until I'd finished having kids. They effectively gave me a free apprenticeship. Technically I'm not "qualified". When I started, there were no UK celebrant qualifications! Now there are many, although I wouldn't know them well neighbour to recommend one. Happy to answer questions, however 😊
Time for an #Introduction...
I'm an IT Consultant, Green Party activist, humanist, dad, player of games, Download festival goer, dog owner, and conservationist. (Not necessarily in that order).
I've stood twice as the Green Party candidate for North Swindon in the General Election, and hope to do so again next time.
I Chair the Swindon Humanists group (swindonhumanists.org) and the Hreod Burna Urban Forest charity (HBUF.org).

The deceased is 'committed back to nature' and will simply 'live on in our hearts' which I find rather bleak. Such is the human condition, and if this life is all there is then so be it. But I nurture a wild hope that there is more than that. 2/2
For everyone interested in matters anthropological, but communicated with extraordinary ease, then the wonderful Professor @aliceroberts is here.
