For those of those out there who are fans of historical administrative districts - and I know that there are many - the area once known as "Humberside" is still clinging on to its existence 26 years after it was abolished.

The BBC hasn't caught on to the fact that Humberside has gone & Brigg is now - once again - in Lincolnshire as it always has been.
