I'll start. I love #HunterTheReckoning 5th Edition's Danger track. This represents the villain's awareness. The higher it goes, the more the villain will come after them. Players know where the track is, but not what happens at each level. When a Hunter overreaches, they can ignore the penalties if they up the Danger by 1. That's a tempting, and dangerous trade-off, and I love it.

So I made my first 5e character ever. A human bard. Not a horny bard though, I'm going for the "serious storyteller and actor" type of bard. Was tempted to go for a Blues Brothers "Mission from God" type but didn't.

I think a couple of the other players got the GM off to the side and he listened to their advice. So it was a bit more entertaining and thought out. So hopefully he keeps that up, guess we'll find out in two weeks for the next session. #ttrpg

1. It's about normal people trying to fight monsters. It's a type of story most of us are familiar with already.
2. Focuses on street level hunters. Hunters in this game are the underdogs both narratively and mechanically.
3. Hunters organize themselves by their approach to the hunt, not by defined social groups with established lore.
It's a gritty game that's easy to tell compelling stories with.
