wild to see pics of the crash that closed #Hwy17 at Old Woman Bay earlier today. when you hear "jack-knifed tractor-trailer" you don't usually envision "buddy completely demolished his truck". a real stark reminder to respect that section of highway 😥

it's actually climate change: warmer winters mean the lakes remain ice-free for longer...and so long as Lake Superior remains open, the eastern shore is gonna get pummelled with snowsqualls every time the westerly winds pick up. but I'm not about to pick that fight lol
