It's not as farfetched as it sounds.

Even countries that didn't sign the Rome Statute, the treaty that created the International Criminal Court, can invite the Court in, giving them jurisdiction over crimes against humanity. #Ukraine invited the #ICC in to investigate #RussianWarCrimes.

The U.S. could do the same, raising the possibility of trials at the Hague for Texas officials, and Trump officials who separated children from their families.
