Un lindo resultado: usando ALMA, un equipo sondeó 39 nubes moleculares masivas, o "criaderos de estrellas”… y encontraron en torno a 800 "semillas estelares”… y el 99% de ellas no tenía la masa necesaria para la formación de estrellas masivas. Parece que la densidad de esas "semillas estelares” es crítica para la formación de estrellas masivas.

It seems that core density might be more critical than mass for high-mass star formation.
