Oh this is such a special day, I am so happy! I received my #Ignea band T-shirt today all the way from #Ukraine. And it even came with a thank you note from Helle herself! That was so nice, even with all the crap going on this band is still doing their best to keep the world informed and engaged. Please support them, their defiance in the face of the enemy deserves our acknowledgment. I am going this wear this and hopefully tell others just one of the many stories about Ukrainians standing up against their enemies.
Keep strong Ukraine! Many hopes and prayers that this war ends quickly.

#ignea is a band from Ukraine, they have a unique middle eastern vibe to their songs which gives some very unique tones. The singing is great, and I love little things they add to the songs. For example in Alga their is a brief break when just the keyboard comes in with a very dissonant chord which catches you by surprise. Check them out at bandcamp.
I watch some youtube reactions and found the band Suite Clarity by their Nightwish reactions. They are based in Seattle and I would consider them to be #progressivemetal. I found their reactions to be very insightful, they are obviously very talented and understanding about complex music theory. They currently have released two full albums. I hope they can increase their following and popularity, so here is a shoutout to #suiteclarity on fedi!
Also through the Suite Clarity youtube channel and their song covers I discovered #Spritbox from Canada. I just started exploring their catalog but like what I hear so far. They have one album "Eternal Blue" but a bunch of earlier EPs and singles.
